Welcome to the one and only official Creative Edge website. You're probably wondering exactly what Creative Edge is. Most of you have probably heard of a thing called Straight Edge. Well Creative Edge is another youth movement, in fact very similar to Straight Edge.
Basic Tenets
The basic ideas that a Creative Edger lives his life by are as follows:
No using any writing utensils that inhibit your creative ability (ballpoint pens, HB pencils, etc.). Most cXe's only use fountain pens and watersolours when writing as they allow for maximum freedom of expression.
No clapping as a form of applause. This could damage the hands and disturb one's creative flow.
No drinking any beverages other than tea, coffee or other smarty-pants drinks. These are the only beverages that allow one's thought processes to truly activate.
We feel that these are all things that are accepted by society as being an acceptable practice. We choose to think otherwise.
As you can see, the cXe lifestyle is a hard one and obviously not for everybody. These people must be forced into it! That is why we have hardline cXe's! (in case you are stupid and haven't figured it out yet, cXe stands for Creative Edge, much like the sXe moniker)
These are people who walk the true edge and will not even consume water with out some sort of ground up beans in it! They go out and attack people who are breaking our laws by splashing them with buckets of pencil leads. Pictures will be posted as soon as someone actually does this.
To identify a hardline cXe, look for the trademark big stupid looking coffee mug and black shirt.
